8 Antique German Christmas Ornaments in Box, Early Hand Painted Glass Ornaments

Superb very early collection of 8 vintage German glass ornaments with hand painted decoration, bright colors, in original box. Circa late 1920s to early 1930s.

Wow! These are simply fabulous. The mouth blown mercury glass is super thin and fine, typical of vintage glass ornaments of this early era. There are 8 beautiful ornaments in various vibrant colors and hand painted decoration, 5 round spheres, 2 teardrops, and one amazing double indent.

The spheres measure 1.75 inches wide, the teardrops 1.5 inches, and the double indent is 2 inches. All have original unmarked Lauscha style metal caps. They come complete in their original lidded box. They are so lovely, showing some age related fading and paint loss which adds to their period charm. One ornament has a chipped pike with a loose cap as shown in the last photo.
