Antique Fantasy Christmas Ornament Sputnik Atomic Glass Indent Star Ornament German 1940s

Fabulous glass fantasy star indent Christmas ornament in excellent condition, circa late 1940s.

A wonderful silver six pointed glass star features a deep round floral indent in the middle which reflects the light so beautifully. The sphere is bright silver with washes of color on the inside of the indent. The star rays are annealed glass, expertly attached to the round indent. The top ray is the pike which is topped with its original metal cap. These colors are indicative of this time period which help to date this fine ornament.

It measures 3.5 inches tall and is in excellent antique condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. It will make a superb addition to any antique ornament collection!
