Antique Figural Glass Ornament My Darling Dog in a Bag German Christmas Ornament, 1920s

Wonderful early antique German figural glass ornament, featuring a sweet dog peeking out of a bag with “My Darling” script on the front, circa 1920s.

This delightful old ornament features realistic molded details the Germans are known for. The sweet dog is sitting up with his paws on the edge of the red sack. “My Darling” text is embossed into the front of the bag and the bottom is lobed with a pontil finial.

It measures 3 inches tall and is in very good antique condition, free of chips or cracks to the ornament with minor paint loss. The pike is chipped underneath the original Lauscha style metal cap which covers it completely.

This German My Darling dog ornament will make a nice addition to any figural ornament collection or display, a special gift for the antique ornament collector or dog lover!
