Antique German Blown Glass Fantasy Ornament, Unsilvered Star Atomic Christmas Ornament

Wonderful early antique free blown fantasy star ornament, circa 1910s-1920s, Germany.

It is unsilvered and nicely molded with five annealed star rays which come to a fine point. The center is indented with seven additional small round indents radiating around the form. Three are hand painted a bright magenta color. The pike is thin and long, finished with an unmarked Lauscha style metal cap.

It measures 2.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches to the top of the cap. It is in excellent antique condition free of chips, cracks, or breaks. There is some usual age related oxidation.

This is a very special antique glass ornament, mouth blown and shaped with a paddle, not from a mold. A one of a kind treasure! A must have for any antique German or Victorian Christmas ornament collection.
