Antique German Figural Glass Christmas Ornament Cat Sleeping in a Shoe 1920s

Adorable early German figural ornament, the classic Cat Sleeping in a Shoe, circa 1920s. Excellent!

This cat or kitten is so cute with its white fur and pink mouth, all cuddled up in the antique gold shoe. The shoe features nicely molded details indicative of the era. It measures 3.25 inches wide to the end of the unmarked Lauscha style metal cap. The ornament is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks, just a bit of minor paint loss.
