Antique German Figural Glass Christmas Ornament Flesh Face Santa Holding Tree 1930s

Wonderful classic antique German glass Santa with a flesh face and holding a tree, circa later 1930s.

He is simply wonderful, full of nicely molded details. His blown glass body features lacquer paint over a silvered body. He wears his red suit trimmed with white mica, the green treo over his left shoulder. The hand painted flesh face features a full bushy white beard and is finished with dot eyes and a red mouth.

He measures 2.75 inches tall and is topped with an original Lauscha style metal cap. It is in very good antique condition free of chips or cracks, with a bit of age related paint loss.

Every collection needs a flesh face Santa or two. Makes a thoughtful gift for the collector!
