Antique German Glass Christmas Ornament Santa or Elf in a Window Embossed Outdent 1920s

A harder to find unique German glass outdent Santa ornament in wonderful condition, circa 1920s.

This is so delightful with Santa’s head peeking out from a cottage window with an expressive hand painted face. There are wonderful tall embossed fir trees on the sides. The back of the ornament is embossed with what looks like a door through which Santa came. So clever!  The bumpy sphere has a large rounded finial at the bottom, adding to its character. It measures 3.5 inches tall and is in very good antique condition, showing some age related paint and silvering loss.

This is a fun and unique antique Santa ornament, a must-have for every figural ornament collection.
