Antique German Glass Ornament Bumpy Embossed Egg Outdent Egg Ornament, 1930s

Wonderful antique German embossed geometric Christmas ornament in a pretty red-magenta! Circa 1930s.

It is a fat oval egg shape with a striking bumpy diamond pattern that wraps around the form. The top and bottom feature vertical rays that culminate at the point.  The raised embossed lines are painted white, creating nice contrast against the bright red. It retains its original unmarked Lauscha style metal cap with the flat hanging loop.

This wonderful antique glass ornament measures 2.5 inches tall to the top of the cap. The pike is intact. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks. One side has less white paint than the other, likely original when made.
