1920s Antique German Glass Ornament Bumpy Embossed Teardrop Outdent Ornament

Wonderful antique German embossed geometric Christmas ornament in a pretty bright gold! Circa 1920s.

It is a tapered teardrop egg shape with a striking bumpy diamond pattern on the bottom half that wraps around the form. The top half features faceted vertical rays that culminate at the pike. It retains its original unmarked Lauscha style metal cap with the flat hanging loop.

This wonderful antique glass ornament measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the cap. The pike is intact. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. (The pike has the usual age related oxidation and has darkened, it is not chipped.)
