Lovely vintage German double sided mercury glass angel ornament with nice gold and purple accents!

Here is a very sweet embossed angel Christmas ornament with bright hand painted details. She has golden blond hair and wings with a nicely molded cherub face. Embossed purple stripes alternate with gold stars which circle around the angel. The design repeats on both sides. It is reminiscent of the similar “Face in a Flower” antique German ornament and measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the original metal cap. It is in excellent condition free of chips or cracks, with minimal paint loss. Our photos show all sides of this special ornament.
