Antique German Glass Outdent Ornament Double Sided Raphael Angel, Blown Glass Angel Ornament 1930s

Lovely vintage German double sided glass outdent angel ornament with an embossed floral star on the back. Circa 1930s but based on an early 1900s mold!

This is the wonderful Raphael Angel in a Cloud ornament, in its classic pose with his hand under his chin and floating in a bubbly cloud. There are molded wings and a nicely molded cherub face. He is framed with a round ring and a double bumpy border. The back features a wonderful ringed floral star outdent. It measures 2.5 inches wide and is topped with a metal cap. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, the silvering still strong. (Any dark areas in the photos are reflections.) There are a few small minor dark flecks.

This is a very old design created in the early 1900s during Victorian times, so special! Hang this on your Christmas tree this year, or enjoy it year ’round hung in a special spot in your home for daily inspiration!
