Antique German Easter Rabbit Embossed Christmas Ornament Double Sided Egg 1930s

Really fun vintage German double embossed outdent ornament featuring a hiking rabbit with and a radial pine cone star on the back. Circa 1920s-1930s.

He is so wonderful, with his walking stick and his big backpack or sack on his back. It is an embossed, egg shaped ornament. The round ring features as bumpy border with four lines of different patterns. So much fine design went into these early German ornaments!

The back features a wonderful ringed pine cone star outdent. It measures 2.5 inches tall and is topped with an original Lauscha style metal cap. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks, the silvering still strong. There is a bit of minor paint loss here and there.

This is a classic, harder to find early German ornament, such a fun rabbit!
