Antique Glass Christmas Garland with Bells 8.5′ Japan, Vintage Glass Beaded Tree Garland 1930s

Rare very early mercury glass Christmas tree garland, over 8.5 feet long with lovely glass bells! Circa 1930s, Japan.

The blown glass bells are so pretty, featuring a variety of bright colors. They alternate between rows of 1/4″ double silver beads. The beads are tightly strung and are one continuous strand, measuring 106.5 inches long (8.8 feet). The garland is finished with the original cardboard square ends, a wonderful embellishment still intact after all of these years!

It is in very good vintage condition with a few bells that have broken; we have left the partial bells as is, a part of its history. There are just a couple of small broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. (Our photos show details as well as the entire strand.)

This is a really fun and hard to find garland for your vintage Christmas tree or holiday decorating this year, a wonderful addition to any Japan Christmas collection!
