Mercury Glass Beaded Garland Faceted Beads 8.5′ Japan Antique Glass Bead Tree Garland 1930s

Beautiful vintage mercury glass Christmas tree garland, 8.5′ long with unique faceted bumpy beads. Circa 1930s, early Japan.

These multi-faceted beads are harder to find. The large light green beads measure a half inch, interspersed with double quarter inch beads in silver, red, and darker green. The original red cardboard star ends are still attached, always a nice bonus on these old vintage finds!

It is one long continuous strand, measuring over 8.5′ long (104 inches) and is in very good antique condition. The colors are still crisp and bright with a bit of the usual age related paint loss and oxidation. There are just a couple of broken beads, amazing after all of these years! A unique and rare garland for your vintage Christmas tree or holiday decorating this year!
