Antique Glass Christmas Garland with Bells 9′ Japan Vintage Glass Beaded Tree Garland Lime Green 1930s

Unique very early mercury glass Christmas tree garland, 9 feet long with lovely white glittered bells in excellent condition, circa 1930s, Japan.

The 15 white plastic bells are so pretty, featuring a red mercury glass pealer hanging from a green chenille cord. Each rim is lined with silver glitter. They alternate between rows of lime green beads, all are tightly strung.

It is one long continuous strand, measuring 108 inches long and is in excellent condition. The lime green lacquer paint is still vibrant with minimal paint loss. There are just a few small broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. All of the bells are in perfect condition. A really fun and hard to find garland for your vintage Christmas tree or holiday decorating this year, a wonderful addition to any Japan Christmas collection!
