Vintage Glass Ornament Small Mica Santa Belsnickel Father Christmas Austria 1940s

Very sweet small antique blown glass Santa ornament, circa 1950s. It features nicely molded details with white mica trim on the hat and coat. He stands in the classic pose with his hands held in front of him and has a slightly lobed bottom.

It measures 2.25 inches tall and is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks. It is topped with its original metal cap marked, “Made in Austria”. The mica is intact and the silvering is still strong. There is considerable red paint loss.

This wonderful small glass Santa is a unique form and will make a nice addition to any figural ornament collection, a nice gift for the Santa collector!
