Antique Train Display Gasoline Station, Composition Putz House Japan, Putz Village House 1930s

Very early Japan putz house Gasoline Station with with two red pumps out front! Circa 1930s.

This is a wonderful little putz village building consisting of nicely molded composition which has been hand painted. It features a tiled roof and horizontal siding. There are blue frames surrounding the windows and doors with shutters on the ends. The dormer style Gasoline sign on top of the roof is a really nice touch, still crisp and legible after all of these years. And, the best feature is the pair of bright red old fashioned gas pumps. They even have thick wire loops attached for hoses! There is a hole in the back for placing mini tree lights.

It measures 4.25 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall and is 2.5 deep. The bottom has an embossed Made in Japan mark. It is in very good antique condition, somewhat amazing for its age and fragile nature. The house is sturdy and is free of chips or cracks. There are remnants of red cellophane in the windows with parts missing.
