Antique Tinsel and Glass Grape Cluster Ornament, Wire Wrapped Grapes Fabric Leaf Christmas Ornament, 1900s

Lovely authentic wire wrapped Christmas ornament in the Victorian style with seven glass grapes and two kinds of tinsel! Circa early 1900s.

This is a wonderful turn of the century grape cluster ornament wrapped with thin curly wire embellishments. A twisted tinsel spray lays on top of the fabric leaf, which is nicely trimmed in the shape of a true grape leaf. Seven wine colored unsilvered glass balls are composed together as the bunch.

It measures 4 inches tall and 2.75 inches at its widest point. The grapes each measure one inch wide. It is in amazing antique condition; the glass grapes are free of chips or cracks with a minimum of minor paint loss. The tinsel and curly wire are still shiny and bright. An original curved wire hanging loop is attached at the top to finish this fine antique ornament.
