Vintage Corning Large Double Indent Teardrop Christmas Ornament, USA Double Reflector

Hard to find extra large Corning (or possibly Shiny Brite) double indent ornament in the striking teardrop shape! Circa 1940s.

This is a wonderful older jumbo double reflector blown glass Christmas ornament featuring a deeply molded floral indent on both sides and an extra large cap! The body is silver with several color bands surrounding the form. The indent is large and so pretty with its many radiating rays and pink center. It measures a large 3.75 inches tall to the top of the cap. The very large 3/4″ cap is marked, “Made in U.S.A.”. This larger size cap is a bit rare. It is in very good vintage condition showing a bit of age related oxidation. One side of the cap is rusty. Our photos show all sides of this wonderful rare ornament.

This is a sparkly and beautiful large size double indent teardrop ornament, so pretty on the tree and a fabulous addition to any collection!
