RARE Shiny Brite UFO Unsilvered Tinsel Inside Atomic Top Christmas Ornament

Hard to find Shiny Brite unsilvered Christmas ornament, a wonderful UFO top ornament with silver tinsel inside! Circa later 1940s to early 1950s.

It features transparent glass with three colors of transparent paint, magenta on top, orange-gold in the middle, and green on the base. Two white stripes round the form on the edges. Ornaments of this era were not silvered inside due to wartime restrictions. Thus, a long silver tinsel spray was inserted to give it sparkle and shine. The classic spinning top UFO shape has a lobed bottom and is topped with the crimped Shiny Brite cap.

It measures 3 inches tall to the top of the cap and is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks. There is a bit of paint loss over all of these many years!

This is a RARE 1940s Shiny Brite unsilvered with tinsel Christmas ornament, a great addition to any war era ornament collection!
