Wonderful German red coat Santa glass ornament by Inge Glas, topped with their classic Star Cap. Mid Century Christmas.

This is a somewhat rare pose with Santa holding a real green brush! It is nicely molded with hand painted details and a bit of mica on his mustache. His coat is a bright red color with a hint of magenta. The suit coat, cuffs, and hat are trimmed with a bumpy silver lining. His feet create a lobed bottom.

Santa measures 3.5 inches tall to the top of the original gold metal cap which is marked W. Germany. It has a beautiful luster and shiny finish, in excellent condition free of wear or paint loss. A fabulous retired Inge Glas Santa!
