Shiny Brite Ornaments in Box, 6 Shiny Brite Glass Pine Cone Ornaments IOB Japan, 1950s

Fabulous set of six vintage Shiny Brite glass pine cone Christmas ornaments in original box, circa 1950s.

This is an exceptional hard to find Shiny Brite ornament set in a delightful royal blue color. The pine cones are nicely molded with fine detail, each finished with a dusting of white mica glitter snow on the edges. Each retains its original metal cap marked Japan. (Max Eckhardt, of Shiny Brite, imported many wonderful, high quality Japan Christmas decorations and ornaments after the war, distributed under the Shiny Brite name.)

They measure 2.75 inches tall. All are in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. Amazing after all of these years!

The original box is also in excellent condition. It is the classic blue and white Shiny Brite box which measures 7 inches by 5 inches. It retains the original cardboard divider which holds the ornaments securely, and original paper tissues cushion each ornament. The cellophane window is still intact. An original hand written price of 49¢ appears in the upper right corner, always a nice bonus on these old vintage finds. There is a small minor crease on the box lid but it is otherwise perfect!
