Unsilvered USA Paper Cap Christmas Ornament Hand Painted War Era Corning 1940s

Excellent war era unsilvered USA glass ornament with a rare brown paper cap. American made, circa 1940s.

It is a lovely clear yellow-gold with hand painted white floral sprays on both sides. The stiff paper cap is securely attached and features an original thick cotton cord hanging loop with an early steel hook. These extra period embellishments are a nice bonus! It measures 2.25 inches wide and 2.75 inches tall to the top of the cap. It is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks, the color very bright. The cap is complete, sturdy, and unbent. Fabulous!
