Vintage Miniature Christmas Tree with Glass Balls Japan, 8″ Cellophane Visca Bottle Brush 1940s

Harder to find visca cellophane tabletop Christmas tree with two kinds of mercury glass ornaments! Circa 1940s, early Japan.

It measures 8 inches tall, very vibrant and colorful with the branch tips each sporting a colorful mercury glass bead. An additional 23 multi-color Made in Japan 1″ glass ball ornaments hang throughout the branches. It has a foil wrapped wire trunk and sits on a red wood base pot and is marked Japan. Several ornaments have metal Japan caps. It is in excellent condition, the branches full and crisp with no cracks or chips to the glass ornaments. (Our photos show this fine tree both assembled and unassembled, to best show the structure and quality.)

This is a lovely vintage Christmas decoration, rare as visca and so nice with the genuine glass Japan ornaments from this earlier period. Wonderful in a putz village scene or other holiday decoration!
