Vintage Christmas Candy Container Red Vinyl Boot Merry Christmas Happy New Year Boot Christmas Stocking 1950s

Wonderful hard to find mid century red vinyl boot Christmas stocking/candy container. Rare!

This is a delightful printed vinyl and cardboard Christmas boot. It can be hung as a vintage Christmas stocking, or used as a standing candy container. The bright red vinyl makes a nice backdrop for the classic holiday design which features both “Merry Christmas” and “Happy New Year” printed in white text. The festive theme features balloons, confetti, and streamers! The bottom half of the boot transitions to a soft, ivory colored felted cardboard shoe. The top and back side of the boot is trimmed in a cute red and white stripe “candy cane” trim with large stitches. A silver jingle bell is attached to the top center to finish this adorable and unique vintage Christmas stocking.

It measures 5.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is in very good vintage condition free of tears or damage. The bell shows oxidation, and the felt shoe has a few spots and a dot of white paint on the toe, likely a factory blip!
