RESERVED Vintage Christmas Decor Plate Norcrest Porcelain ‘Merry Christmas’ Holly Berries, 1960s

Wonderful mid century Norcrest China Merry Christmas plate with lovely transferware holly and berries design, circa 1960s.

It features an elaborate illustration featuring classic holly leaves with bright red berry clusters. A light blue shadow image repeats behind the design, so unique and pretty. “Merry Christmas” is printed in bright gold ink. It is accented with gold stars and a fluted gilt rim.

It measures 5.5 inches wide and is in excellent vintage condition, free of chips or cracks. The litho holly berry design is bright and crisp with minimal wear. It has a Norcrest Fine China backstamp and an original oval foil Japan label which helps to date this piece. What a wonderful mid century Christmas plate to use for decor or a special holiday meal!
