Vintage Corning Large Bell Patriotic Ornament Mica Stripes US of A Glass Christmas Ornament 1940s

Handsome harder to find early Corning US of A ornament. American made, 1940s pre-war.

This vintage large Corning bell is so striking with its deep blue color and white mica stripes. The bottom is lobed with a small pontil which acts as the bell peeler. It retains its original smooth metal cap which reads “Made in US of A” which helps to date this old ornament. It measures 3 inches tall and is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or wear. The paint and mica are free of loss or scratches after all these years! The cap is worn and oxidized.

This is a wonderful early US of A ornament perfect on a Patriotic tree, a great addition to any vintage USA Christmas collection!
