Vintage Corning Unsilvered Beaded Lantern Tinsel Inside RARE Purple USA Glass Christmas Ornament 1940s

Highly desirable and hard to find early Corning US of A ornament of very rare unsilvered purple glass, a paneled lantern shape with tinsel inside! American made, designed by Steuben Glass, 1940s.

It is a striking design, nicely molded with the classic vertical beaded sloping panels. The bottom is lobed with a small pontil. A sparkly long tinsel spray is inside making this ornament shine! It retains its original smooth metal cap which reads “Made in US o A” which helps to date this old ornament. It measures 3 inches tall and is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or wear.

This is an incredible, quite rare early USA beaded lantern ornament, a must-have addition to any vintage USA Christmas collection!
