Vintage Flesh Face Santa Head German Glass Christmas Ornament with Mica 1960s

Wonderful vintage German flesh face Santa Head ornament with white mica trim, circa 1960s.

He is simply wonderful, featuring deeply molded and expressive features. His red mouth peeks out of a white fluffy beard. He wears a bright red cap lined with a thick band of sparkly white mica.

The entire ornament is blown silvered glass with the matte lacquers painted over. The red cap retains the shiny mercury glass look. It measures 2.5 inches tall to the top of the unmarked metal cap. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks. The mica is still thick and intact. There are some flecks of paint loss as shown in the photos.

This is a fun vintage figural glass Santa Head ornament. It will make a great addition to any collection, a wonderful gift for the Santa collector!
