Wonderful vintage German red coat Santa mercury glass ornament in perfect condition. Circa 1950s.

He is in the classic pose holding a green Christmas tree over his shoulder. It is nicely molded with hand painted details. Love the bright blue eyes! It is finished with sparkly white mica accents.

Santa measures 3.75 inches tall to the top of the original metal cap, which is marked West Germany. It has a beautiful luster and shiny finish, in excellent condition showing just a couple of tiny dots of minor paint loss on the back. Really nice vintage German Santa ornament!
