Vintage Clip On Swan Ornament, Silver Figural Glass Bird Christmas Ornament Spun Glass Tail

Wonderful vintage German blown glass clip on swan Christmas ornament, circa 1960s.

The bird has nicely molded feather and wing details with a bumpy back. The wings are covered in white mica. It is a bright silver with red eyes and a pointed red beak. The tail feathers are the original spun glass.

It measures 4.75 inches wide, beak tip to tail end. The spring leg is attached to the rectangular unmarked metal clip. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. There is some of the usual oxidation on the clip.

What a beautiful and striking vintage glass bird ornament. A fabulous addition to any antique ornament collection, a thoughtful gift for the bird lover!
