Vintage Heim Jumbo Glass Teardrop Christmas Ornament Prewar USA Ornament 1940s

Wonderful extra large Santa Heim USA prewar Christmas ornament in elusive orange, circa early 1940s.

This blown glass ornament is an extra large tapered teardrop shape and features wonderful hand painted red floral sprays on both sides. The red against the hard to find orange lacquer is so stunning! It measures 5 inches tall to the top of the cap and 2.75 inches wide. The pike is intact and is topped with a US of A metal cap which helps to date this to the pre-war era. It is finished with the signature Heim loopy pontil. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss.

This early large Heim USA glass Christmas ornament is quite rare in this color with the hand painted decoration, a must-have for the Heim or USA ornament collector!
