Vintage Heim USA Large Fluted Teardrop Glass Prewar Christmas Ornament US of A Cap

Wonderful extra large Santa Heim fluted teardrop glass Christmas ornament in fabulous condition. American made prewar ornament, circa early 1940s.

This blown glass ornament is so beautiful in a lovely shade of pink-red . The top and bottom have deep fluted indents which taper all round the form. It is finished with the signature Heim long loopy pontil!

It is a very large size measuring 4.5 inches tall to the top of the cap and 3 inches wide. The pike is intact and is topped with a US of A metal cap which helps to date this to the pre-war era. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips or cracks with minimum oxidation.

This is a harder to find early large USA glass Christmas ornament, a great addition to any American ornament collection. A must have for the Heim collector!
