Vintage Indent Ornament Santa and Tree Poland Hand Painted Glass Christmas Ornament

Wonderful hand painted red indent teardrop ornament featuring Santa in the forest harvesting the Christmas tree! Circa 1950s Poland.

It is a very deep radial indent that sparkles with a dot of red in the center. The back shows the classic red coat Santa in the woods carrying the Christmas tree he chose! Additional trees and hand painted decoration wrap to the sides to complete the scene.

It measures 3 inches tall to the top of the pike and retains the original Poland metal cap. It is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks with just a bit of minor paint loss. The illustrations are crisp and intact. It is such a unique antique German ornament, the hand painted decoration a bit rare and hard to find. Wonderful!
