Vintage Glass Christmas Garland Feather Tree 8.5’ Japan Red Bead Tree Garland 1950s

Beautiful bright red mercury glass beaded Christmas tree garland perfect for a feather tree, circa 1950s Japan.

The garland is strung with lovely red 1/4” single beads. They are tightly strung with the lacquer still so brilliant. It measures just over 8.5′ long (102 inches). It still retains the original round cardboard ends, always a nice bonus to find on these old garlands!

It is in very good vintage condition with just a couple of broken beads. This is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. There is some paint loss, typical of the red Japan garlands of this era, adding to its vintage feel. A gorgeous small bead garland for your vintage holiday decorating this year, perfect on a Patriotic tree!
