Vintage Pink Mercury Glass Christmas Garland, 8.5′ Magenta Beaded Tree Garland Japan, 1950s

Lovely vintage hot pink glass Christmas tree garland, over 8 feet long circa 1950s, Japan.

This is a wonderful continuous strand of small 3/16″ glass beads in a bright magenta pink color. It measures 102 inches long, or, 8 1/2 feet. Each end is finished with an original cardboard star, always a nice bonus when these old paper embellishments are intact!

It is in excellent vintage condition. The colors are still crisp with a just a couple of broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. There is a bit of minor paint loss on a couple of the beads.

This is a very sweet dark magenta pink glass garland, perfect for a feather tree or other holiday decorating this year!
