Vintage Plastic Nativity Decoration White Figures Hong Kong Manger Christian Gift 1960s

Wonderful small mid century plastic nativity scene made in Hong Kong, rare version with white figures. Circa 1960s.

The brown plastic manger has silver glitter on its pitched roof and around the bottom rim to simulate snow. It is framed with a tall evergreen tree, also decorated with glitter. A shooting star appears at the apex heralding the birth of the Baby Jesus. Inside find white plastic figures of Mary, Joseph, Jesus in a cradle, and two sheep. There are several levels which show off the figures nicely. The back of the manger has an embossed copyright mark dated of 1962. The bottom is embossed Hong Kong.

It measures 3.25 inches wide by 2 inches tall and is free of chips, cracks, or dust. All of the figures are present. Often, some of these chip off and go missing over the years. The glitter has aged to a soft gray, typical of the early metallic glitter. (Plastic glitter started appearing in the 1970s.)

This is a harder to find nativity ornament with the white figures, so nice to display or gift to someone special!
