Vintage Pre War Heim USA Jumbo Parachute Glass Christmas Ornament Fluted Teardrop 1940s

Fabulous large Santa Heim fluted parachute glass Christmas ornament in fabulous condition. American made ornament, circa early 1940s.

This blown glass ornament is so beautiful in a gleaming shade of yellow-gold. The top and bottom have deep fluted indents which taper all round the form giving it their classic parachute design. It is finished with the signature Heim long loopy pontil!

It is a large size measuring 4 inches tall to the top of the cap and 2.5 inches wide. The pike is intact and is topped with a US of A metal cap which helps to date this to the pre-war era. It is in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or oxidation.

This is a rare early USA glass Christmas ornament, a great addition to any American ornament collection. A must have for the Heim collector!
