Vintage Prewar Glass Christmas Garland Feather Tree 8’ Japan Blue Bead Tree Garland 1930s

Beautiful early mercury glass Christmas tree garland with very small glass beads perfect for a feather tree, circa 1930s Japan.

The beads are a lovely sky blue color and measure 3/16” wide, just under a quarter inch! They are tightly strung with the lacquer still so bright. It measures just under 8’ long (93 inches). It still retains the original round carboard ends, always a nice bonus to find on these old garlands!

It is in excellent near perfect vintage condition with just a couple of broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass. A gorgeous garland for your vintage holiday decorating this year, a great addiction to any prewar collection!
