RESERVED Vintage Rainbow Icicle Christmas Ornaments Poland in Box, Fluted Glitter Glass Ornaments IOB

RARE set of SIX vintage Poland mercury glass fluted icicle glitter Christmas ornaments, complete in their original storage box. Wonderful condition, circa 1950s.

Each of these hand decorated ornaments feature an undulating, fluted, six panel body each with alternating colors. The edges are trimmed with silver glitter. Each ornament is unique, having been mouth blown and finished by hand. They vary slightly in height, from 5.75 inches to 6.25 inches. Each retains its original metal cap which is stamped, “Poland” and are in excellent vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. The glitter has aged to a soft gray, which helps to date these to this time period.

These come with their original box and protective cushion. The back of the box has the style number printed in a green text. The protective cardboard cushion is in excellent condition, each space slotted to hold the ornament securely. The cellophane window is intact with a small tear at the top. The outside of the box is very good showing a bit of age related toning.

What a gorgeous set of multi color icicle Christmas ornaments. A fabulous and hard to find form, especially in such pristine condition!
