Vintage Santa Weihnactsmann Glass Ornament, German Purple Cap Santa Head

Excellent antique Weihnachtsmann Santa Head ornament with the harder to find purple cap, 1920s-1930s Germany.

He is simply wonderful with nicely molded and expressive features. He has a hand painted face and a long white mica beard. He wears a dark purple cap with a bumpy band.

He measures 3.5 inches tall to the top of the unmarked Lauscha style metal cap. It is in very good antique condition free of chips or cracks. There is a bit of minor paint loss and a few age spots on the mica.

This is a superb, rare vintage German figural glass ornament. It will make a great addition to any collection, a wonderful gift for the Santa collector!
