Vintage Spaghetti Santa Bank Japan Ceramic Santa with Bell, 1950s Christmas Decor

Classic vintage ceramic spaghetti Santa bank, hand painted with gilt accents. Circa 1950s, Japan.

He is cold painted, wearing the classic red suit with white spaghetti trim and cuffs. He wears a bright gold belt and holds a gold bell. There are additional gilt accents here and there. His hat also features the wonderful spaghetti trim. He has a sweet smiling face with big blue eyes and a bright red mouth. It measures 6 inches tall and retains an original faded gold foil import sticker on the bottom. It reads:

It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks. There is some light crazing and some of the usual dust in the spaghetti trim. The bottom shows foxing and crazing. There is no longer a stopper.
