Antique Weinachtsmann Head Flesh Face, German Large Glass Santa Head Ornament 1900s

Excellent, hard to find large antique German glass Weinachtsmann Santa head ornament with a hand painted flesh face, circa early 1900s.

He is simply wonderful, featuring deeply molded and expressive features. The head is brightly silvered with the matte flesh colored face featuring an intense expression and big eyes. He wears his classic cap with the top creating the pike. It measures 4 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style cap and is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks, or wear.

This is a superb early German figural glass ornament, rare in this large size and with flesh face. It will make a great addition to any collection, a wonderful gift for the Santa collector!
