Vintage Triple Indent Wire Wrapped Tree Topper with Bells, Large German Glass Tree Top

Lovely large triple indent glass tree topper with elaborate wire wrap decoration, and finished with three gold glass bells. Fabulous! Germany, circa 1950s.

This is a stunning vintage mercury glass Christmas tree top, a bit rare with this style of decoration. It is silver with a large round bright gold sphere with three sparkly indents. It features hand painted white floral sprays and linear designs at the top and bottom. It is covered in curly crinkle wire. There is a ring of glass beads between the sphere and the silver spire. Three thick gold tinsel arms frame each indent, each with a small gold ribbed bell attached. Wonderful! Our photos show all sides of this amazing glass topper turning clockwise.

It is a large size measuring 11 inches tall. It is so sparkly and is in excellent antique condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. The wire wrap is still tight after all of these years, the glass bells perfect!

This is such a striking glass tree topper. It will make a dramatic display at the top of the Christmas tree. Gorgeous!
