Vintage Glass Prewar Christmas Ornament Small Carousel Lantern, Corning US of A Glass Ornament

Very early Corning USA glass ornament, an unusual “fancy shape” barrel carousel lantern in the harder to find small size!

This is a wonderful vintage American ornament that was first released in 1939 and discontinued after the war. It features multiple tapering panels which culminate in a rounded bottom.

It measures 2 inches tall to the top of the original US of A metal cap and is in very good vintage condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. There is a bit of spotting on one side.

This is a wonderful early Corning Glass Christmas ornament, in a harder to find shape. Quite rare with those few production years and the smaller size! A great addition to any USA ornament collection.
