1900s Antique Glass Ornament Crown and Bell Double German Combination Christmas Ornament

Very early classic German combination glass Christmas ornament, Crown over a Bell. Circa late 1890s to early 1900s.

The crown is nicely molded with bumpy vertical panels. It is attached to a pretty silver bell that has a wide horizontal band of pink with hand painted accents. A wonderful glass peeler hangs from the center by a wire. It measures 3.5 inches tall to the top of the original Lauscha style metal cap. It is in very good antique condition free of chips, cracks, or breaks. There is a bit of the usual age related paint and silvering loss.

What a fabulous addition to any antique ornament collection, wonderful on a Victorian era tree!
