Antique Glass Christmas Garland with Bells Japan Mercury Glass Beaded Tree Garland 1950s

Unique vintage mercury glass Christmas tree garland with lovely white glittered bells in excellent condition, circa 1950s, Japan.

The 13 white plastic bells are so pretty, featuring a bright blue mercury glass pealer hanging inside with a small green chenille cord. Each rim is lined with sparkly silver glitter. They alternate between rows of bright 1/4″ gold beads.

It is one long continuous strand, measuring 90 inches long and is in very good vintage condition. All 13 bells are in perfect condition. The lacquer paint is still vibrant with minimal paint loss. There are some darker beads here and there, and just a few small broken beads, which is somewhat amazing considering its age and the fragile nature of the thin glass.

This is a really fun and hard to find garland for your vintage Christmas tree or holiday decorating this year, a wonderful addition to any Japan Christmas collection!
