Chinese Lantern Ornament Shiny Brite Gifu Lantern Beehive Christmas Ornament

Very nice vintage Shiny Brite lantern Christmas ornament, featuring the classic lobed Oriental shape!

This is a wonderful Shiny Brite glass lantern ornament in excellent vintage condition. It is fashioned after the Japanese paper Gifu lanterns, sometimes called a Chinese lantern. It is a bright yellow-gold color and features concentric ribbed circles that wrap around the form from top to bottom. It tapers down to a rounded finial at the bottom and is finished with the classic metal ribbed cap and loop which reads, “Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A.”

It measures 2.5 inches tall to the top of the cap and is in excellent miint condition free of chips, cracks, or paint loss.
