Large German Glass Ornament Jumbo 4″ Balloon Parachute Christmas Ornament

Lovely large antique German glass inverted balloon mushroom ornament, circa 1920s.

It is a large size at 4 inches tall to the top of the cap and 2.5 inches at its widest point. The bright gold and silver ornament features a large round sphere indented on the bottom with a long stem attached, similar to a balloon or mushroom. It has nice hand painted floral decoration repeating around the form and the stem bottom is finished with a large round finial. Bright yellow stripes circle the top and bottom adding interest. So pretty!

It is topped with its original Lauscha style metal cap and is in excellent antique condition free of chips or cracks, just a bit of minor wear. Our photos show all sides and angles of this fine ornament.
