Vintage Heim Jumbo Glass Teardrop Christmas Ornament Prewar USA Ornament 1940s

Wonderful extra large Santa Heim glass USA prewar Christmas ornament, circa early 1940s.

This blown glass ornament is an extra large tapered teardrop shape. It is finished with the signature Heim long loopy pontil!

It is a very large size measuring 4.25 inches tall to the top of the cap and 3 inches wide. The pike is intact and is topped with a US of A metal cap which helps to date this to the pre-war era. It is in very good vintage condition free of chips or cracks with a bit of oxidation. It is a light pink color fading to a light yellow, almost like an ombre style. Most likely however, the color tone differences are from sunlight! We have priced this rare old ornament accordingly.
